FABREGAS PACKAGING JOINS SALINAS GROUP

The corporate group Salinas has purchased the production unit of Catalan group Fabregas Packaging.

Like Salinas, the centenary Catalan company specialises in the production of luxury packaging for sectors such as perfumery, cosmetics, beverage and gourmet food.

Faced with diversification in other groups, Salinas, top company in the sector in Spain, focuses on offering its national and international customers advanced expertise and services, since this new project means the combination of two leading companies.

This partnership is perfectly in line with the growth and consolidation strategy of Salinas, which now manages two trademarks: Cartonajes Salinas and Fabregas Packaging S.L., providing the same services.

Fabregas brings to the partnership an efficient production plant certified in BRC (food safety standard and safety in product packaging, including cosmetics and perfumery products); on the other hand Salinas adds its knowledge in graphic arts and the process of semi-finished products, as well as a business philosophy based on the equipment and analysis that has enabled it to maintain sustained growth over many years.

It has become the most important productive plant of luxury packaging in rigid cardboard of the whole of Europe.
